December 2008

This hoarding-sized LED peacock was installed atop a juice stall at a busy intersection of Chandni Chowk in the old city of Delhi. People could interact with this installation by making a phone call and pressing different numbers on their key pads. Each key press resulted in a different pattern of animated lights on the hoarding and a different peacock song on the caller's phone. This was followed by a quip about the declining status of the national bird, the peacock, in the national capital, Delhi.
